BINF -Our author of the half term is …

We have had a very Christmassy, musical week at Beulah! Our choir has been very busy.
Last week, the children all took part in their amazing Christmas performances and concerts.
Recently, year 3 have been studying Aesop’s fables. We have discussed the features of a fables and what makes them different from fairy tales as well as learning about what a moral is and how the fables convey these morals.
Gold, Red and Yellow classes have been working really hard over the last few weeks on perfecting their Christmas performances and completing various Christmas craft activities.
Our KS1 classes delivered two wonderful performances of the production ‘Lights, Camel, Action’ last week to very packed and appreciative audiences.
We were very excited to have one of our parents come into school to read a familiar story to our children in her home language.
The parents and carers of the children in our Reception classes were treated to two wonderful performances this week.
On Tuesday, we had another very successful parent coffee morning. This time we invited Barbara Allen from our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) to come in and explain to our parents/carers what support they offer.
Last Tuesday 22nd November, Gold class had a special visit from one of our local Dental nurses.
At Beulah Infants, reading is always a top priority both in school and at home!
This week, we have had our ‘Road Safety Week’ at Beulah.
What a busy start to the term! In Gold class, we are learning all about colours.
