Beulah-School Council Elected
Well done to all of the children that stood for election for a place in the School Council.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Today we celebrated the achievements of the children in Gold Class.
Croydon is London’s Borough of Culture this year. To celebrate this our wonderful choir were invited to take part in the CR Talent Show, where many young people from Croydon’s schools were showcasing the musical opportunities available for them.
This year’s ESOL course, for our parents, concluded on Tuesday. The course is run by CALAT but takes place in our school, over two terms.
This week, reception had a lot of fun visiting Crystal Palace Park Farm!
The children in the Gold class had a lovely time going to the park for some outdoor learning.
Even though the children did not head off camping, they still found time for some creative thinking, collaboration, life skills and plenty of exercise!
Yesterday, Asteroids and Meteors classes from EPS visited the Buddhapadipa Temple in Wimbledon as part of their RE studies.
Year 3 have been studying Stonehenge and have recreated a sunset picture of it.
Year 3 from EPS visited Thornton Heath library this week. Both Meteors and Asteroids classes were given a tour of the children’s library as well as a talk and story from one of the librarians.
Today we relaunched our ’Share a Book’ session where we encourage our parents to come into nursery and share a book with the children.

Atwood continues to raise funds for diabetes research This weekend saw Atwood pupils past, present and future come together with their families in aid of JDRF.
All of the children in our nursery and reception classes had wonderful sports days.
In reception this week, we had a very exciting visit from some interesting minibeasts.
