Did you know it is Science Week across the Pegasus Academy?
Our children had a couple of fabulous workshops with a drummer and dancer from Ghana.
In Year 1, we have had a busy time looking at colours and patterns in our art work.
Last Friday, we had a visit from ‘Fizz Pop’, who came to our school to inspire our children for science week.
During this term, Year 2 have been learning about living things and their habitats.
Last week in Nursery, we continued our water theme by reading the book ‘Commotion in the Ocean.’
As part of our current thematic topic, ‘Invaders and Settlers’ we have been designing and building our own Anglo-Saxon houses.
Another week and another exciting sporting experience. This week 6 children from Year 4 & 5 had the opportunity to practise 3X3 basketball.
This week in nursery, we have been reading the book ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ and learning all about different types of animals that live in and near the sea.
It has been a warm week and an exceptionally warm day today!
In Little Ecclesbourne we have been so busy over the last fortnight.
Wow! What a hot few days we’ve had in school. We’ve all tried our best to keep cool, drink lots of water and stick to the shade.
The children in Little Cypress have been observing how the mustard, cress and cat grass seeds that we planted a week ago have been growing.
The three reception classes had a very exciting visit from some exotic minibeasts this week.
