Year 2 had a great time visiting Morden Hall Park last week.
This term Reception have been participating in weekly yoga lessons with our lovely yoga instructor Rachel.
This week, Year 3 have been taking part in Science week!
It has been Science Week and Refugee Week at Cypress. We have been considering the amazing contributions of people who have come to the UK fleeing war, natural disasters or persecution and used our empathy skills to imagine what it would be like to leave your home country, at short notice, with few or none of your personal belongings.
In Little Cypress this week we have been enjoying Science Week and learning all about the lifecycle of the butterfly.
One of the first things young scientists learn is the difference between solids, liquids, and gases.
Beulah Infant and Nursery School are actively committed to improving our local environment and the health and safety of our children.
We have had a Super Science Week at Cypress Lower School with exciting investigations in every year group!
On Wednesday 22nd June, Jupiter Class were visited by pupils from the Brit School who gave them a very special acting workshop.
Our children had a fantastic time with their science experiments this week.
FIZZ POP Science visited Whitehorse Manor this week. We were intrigued to see all the amazing things you can achieve with air!
Meteors class delighted the audience with an entertaining and fact filled assembly last week.
As part of our ‘Africa’ topic this term, our children attended a couple of dance workshops, led by a drummer and a dancer from Ghana.
We have launched our Science Week with two special assemblies. On Monday, Laura Ashfield from the Surrey Wildlife Trust visited us and inspired our children to become more aware of the wildlife in their surroundings.
