For their Blue Bead treat Year 6 decided to enjoy a water fight.
EPS netball team finished the netball season on a high with three amazing matches last week.
Year 6 brought the house down on Thursday evening with their fantastic performance of ‘Mystery at Magpie Manor’.
This week, Year 6 at Whitehorse Manor performed their end of term production, ‘Aladdin Trouble,’ to children across the school and to their parents.
Earlier this year, our Year 4 pupils enjoyed a series of cricket lessons in school provided by Platform Cricket, and we were invited to bring a team to their Under 9 Inter-School Festival which took place on Friday 15th July.
We were pleased to be visited today by Steve Reed, Shadow Secretary of State for Justice and MP for Croydon North, so that he could meet with our School Council to discuss local matters and tell them a little bit more about his work as our local MP.
The temperature has been rising this week and Rainbows and Nursery have been making the most of the lovely weather by spending plenty of time outside.
We have been thinking carefully about mistakes – and how we can use them as an opportunity to learn.
Year 2 ended their seaside topic by visiting Broadstairs Beach. Although it was a long journey, the children had a wonderful time playing in the sand, splashing in and over waves and burying themselves in the soft, golden sand.
This week has been incredibly hot and with temperatures set to soar next week, we’ve been thinking of ways to keep cool.
Arrrghhh, we have had such a fun filled week being pirates!
Our children and staff work very hard planting and taking care of the plants as they grow in all of our outside areas.
All of our children had great fun on their sports days and the sun shone brightly, making it a perfect week!
All the children in Little Ecclesbourne are very excited about graduating and moving to Reception in September.
