Today has been a super, comfortable day for everyone at Cypress Primary, as we all came into school wearing our cosiest pyjamas and onesies in order to raise money for Children in Need.

This week at WHINF we have been celebrating friendship week. We kicked off the week by wearing odd socks to celebrate our uniqueness.
What great fun our Year 1 classes had on their day at the Science Museum!
At the Upper School this week, we have been thinking about kindness and how random acts of kindness can make recipients feel.
Dear Cypress families, This is turning out to be a busy term for reading!
The last year has taught us not to take for granted the simple joy of hearing laughter along our corridors, the pounding of feet across our playground and the sight of 30 children all in one room!
Works update During lockdown our landscape gardeners were busy outside at Cypress Lower continuing the work to make our woodland more accessible and useable for outdoor education.
It has been wonderful to see the children back in school this week.
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday we are pleased to confirm that all of the schools in the Pegasus Academy Trust will reopen in full on Monday 8th March at 8:45AM.

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement today (Wednesday 30th December) and the publication of the accompanying guidance it is now clear that Croydon schools, including our schools within the Pegasus Academy Trust, will not reopen on 5th January as planned.
This year we took to the virtual universe to bring you a Christmas Junior Production.
I know EPS have done a ‘What staff looked like as school children’ quiz (excellent work guys!)
KS1 Story passport – this morning children in years 1 and 2 travelled round each class to hear a story from each class teacher.
As we come into the Christmas season many parents may be considering buying tablets or laptops for their children which will allow them to access social media sites.
