Yesterday, staff and children at Brigstock and WHJUN main site celebrated uniqueness by wearing odd socks. Often in life, we fear what is different and unknown to us. At Whitehorse, we teach the children to investigate, embrace and celebrate difference. How boring would life be if everyone were the same? Discovering your friends likes and dislikes in food, TV programmes, movies, music and clothes helps us to show our friends that we want to get to know them and care for them. We might even try a few new things that we never thought we would enjoy!
