What an incredible half term we have had in Little Cypress! The children in both Rainbows and Gold and Silver Classes have settled in amazingly well and we have all been so proud of the way they are constantly gaining independence, learning to share and take turns and making friends at the same time! These are all big changes for such little people and they are all showing what resilient learners they are. Well done everyone; you are all true Pegasus People!
This week has been a whirlwind of learning about the fun elements of Halloween, including decorating Halloween biscuits and doing Halloween printing, making repeated patterns with the shapes; learning about Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Light, including listening to the story of Rama and Sita, as well as continuing to think about and experience the wonderful Autumnal changes all around us.
This half term concluded with us all wearing red today to ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ and we talked, in an age-appropriate way, about celebrating our similarities and differences, as well as being kind to everyone.
All the team in Little Cypress wish you a relaxing half term break and we look forward to seeing you all back at school on Wednesday, 2nd November.
