What a joy it has been to watch the children in Rainbows and Nursery settle in to the routines of life in Little Cypress! Despite a few initial tears from a few, they are getting used to their new surroundings and playing with each other. For those who came to Rainbows last year, old friendships are being rekindled and new ones forged for everyone.
Favourite activities are already being chosen and the outside area is already proving to be a popular choice, with the bikes, sandpit, water tray, home corner and climbing equipment. We have many budding artists, readers, mathematicians and scientists and look forward to learning all about each unique child and where their interests lie.
We know what a huge step it is for our 2, 3 and 4 year olds to embark on their initial journey of school life, becoming increasingly independent learners each day. What delightful children they all are and we are looking forward to a fun-filled and happy year ahead, with no doubt a multitude of highlights!
