The temperature has been rising this week and Rainbows and Nursery have been making the most of the lovely weather by spending plenty of time outside. We have been playing in the water tray both inside and out to keep cool, as well as sitting in the shade to have our fruit and drink. We have been thinking about how important it is to drink plenty of water during the day to ensure we keep hydrated, as well as wearing a sunhat and suncream, making sure we take our jumpers off and seeking shade when the sun is at its hottest.
It is due to get considerably warmer next week, so please ensure your child comes to Little Cypress with suncream already applied, a sunhat, full bottle of water and cool clothes (no jumpers or tights please!) We will make sure the rooms stay as cool as we can make them and we will keep the children out of the sun as much as possible on those hottest days.
We hope you have enjoyed reading your child’s end of year report and we can hardly believe the year is almost over!
