Another week has whizzed by in Little Cypress! We have particularly enjoyed learning the story of Little Red Riding Hood and re-telling it, as well as acting it out with masks and puppets. So many of us have loved dressing up this week and have been getting in to role fantastically!
We have been building up our repertoire of songs and rhymes and are counting so well when joining in different number songs such as Five Naughty Monkeys, Five Currant Buns, Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer and so on!
Hopefully all Rainbows received the letter about the new Rainbow Record which will start on Monday, 16th January. Please remember to return your child’s chart each day, Tuesday – Friday after receiving it each Monday. Here is the letter we sent home last week with all the details.
Unfortunately neither Miss Chapman nor Mrs Jerman will be in school next week as both have some hospital treatment. The Nursery Teaching Assistants will be here as usual to support your children, as well as familiar Cypress Teachers and Teaching Assistants to lead the class each day: Mrs Smalley-Nicholson, Mr Staniforth, Miss Williams and Ms Mitchell.
