Reception treated us to the most amazing two performances of: ‘It’s a Wriggly Nativity’ on Tuesday and Thursday mornings this week. Despite a somewhat depleted cast due to absence, the children put on the most fantastic show for their parents, carers and grandparents. They were all in fine voice and showed us a range of acting and singing skills as donkeys, camels, chicken, sheep, angels, stars, kings, shepherds and of course Mary and Joseph. Whatever your religious persuasion, the story of how Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem remains one of the greatest ever told and the three Reception classes told it beautifully! A huge shout out to all the staff in Reception, who have worked tirelessly to ensure that the children were performance ready!
Thank you to all the parents and carers who supported with helping the children to learn their lines and song words and for providing such fantastic costumes. Everyone looked wonderful! Thank you also for your generous donations to Cancer Research UK.
