CYP LOWER: Little Cypress – Farms, Father’s Day and Fun!

Learning and Laughing

Another fabulous week has whizzed by in Little Cypress! Despite the somewhat unpredictable weather, we have had great fun exploring both inside and outside, as well as learning more about the Farm and the different animals who live there. We have loved singing ‘Old Macdonald Had a Farm’ and reading plenty of books about farms.

We have been thinking about the important male figures in our lives ahead of Father’s Day on Sunday. We thought about our daddies, uncles, brothers, grandpas and other important men and why we love them. We printed some wonderful footprints in Nursery for our Father’s Day cards and practised writing our names really carefully to sign the cards.

In Rainbows, we used the tractor track printing we did last week to create colourful ties for our daddies/uncles/grandpas.

Makaton Sign of the Week

As usual, we have learned a new Makaton sign this week. This week’s sign means: ‘..to care for/to look after..’ Click here to see how to sign this.

We hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
