This week in nursery, we have been reading the book ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ and learning all about different types of animals that live in and near the sea. We have been making our very own jellyfish, octopus, fish and starfish; using cheerios as the tentacles! During the week, we made our own cork boats and we loved them so much we used them in our water play outside; floating them on the water! We have also been using sand, rice and water to fill up and empty containers to learn all about capacity. Building on previous learming, we found a snail in the garden so we made it a home full of all of the things that we know a snail needs to survive.
