This term in Reception, we had an exciting visit from a scientist named Professor Bubbleworks! The children were transformed into little scientists as they conducted their own experiments. They explored changing states of matter and created super stretchy slime!
The activity began with the children making predictions about what they thought would happen. One child said, “I predict that it will be sticky!”. Next came the fun part: they mixed all of the ingredients and observed how the liquid miraculously changed into a solid.
Once everyone had made their slime and examined their creations, they expressed their gratitude with a big thank you and goodbye to Professor Bubbleworks. The children were thrilled to take their slime home. They had a fantastic time working as scientists!
