What a fantastic few weeks we had in Gold class! Before the half-term, we made some bird feeders to hang in our garden to help the birds stay well-fed. We have been learning in gold class about Autumn by looking at the changes in the weather and the trees around us. We would like to encourage you to visit your local park with your child to continue observing the seasonal changes with your child.
We talked about important celebrations in our communities like Diwali and Bonfire Night. We have made mandala clay decorations and lots of firework related art and play. We are learning about the story of ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear’. Please find below a link to the story;
Over the next few weeks, we are having a Maths focus on Shapes. Last week, we looked at circles, children enjoyed hunting for circles in the environment. They even found tiny ones on the tables outside!
