Red Class have had an exciting and fun-filled start to the term!
This term, the children are learning all about the important people who help us and the roles they play in our community. Their adventure began with a thrilling challenge—solving the mystery of our missing special diamond rings! The children were shocked to discover a crime scene in the classroom and quickly got to work as detectives.
Eager to crack the case, they have been busy gathering clues, investigating suspects, and piecing together evidence—all while having a fantastic time.
As part of their detective training, the children have learned the Makaton signs for “police” and “police car.” They have also been hard at work creating their own police radios, badges, wanted posters, and even handcuffs—ready to capture the “baddie” once they solve the mystery!
Alongside their detective work, the children have been exploring another important profession—vets! They have loved taking on the role of vets in our brand-new veterinary surgery role-play area, caring for sick animals and learning all about how vets help keep our pets happy and healthy.
What an incredible start to the term—it’s been full of adventure, imagination, and hands-on learning!
