Today at Atwood some of our youngest members amazed family and friends with their brilliant Christmas Concert. The children have been looking at why Christmas can be a magical time. We have thought about the wider meaning of Christmas, it being a time for peace, joy, family and friends. One of the things we love to do and that makes us happy is singing. We sang the songs: ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year’; ‘It Was on a Starry Night’; ‘Rudolph the Red-nose Reindeer’; ‘Jingle Bells’; ‘Father Christmas, he got Stuck’ and ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’.
In between, some of the children shared the things they love about Christmas. One of the main things the children love, apart from presents of course, is spending time with their families. It was wonderful having so many people attend and support the children in their fantastic performance. Thank you children for being so amazing and thank you adults for all of your hard work and support.
