It is the final week of Reception. The children enjoyed celebrating by reflecting on the many things they have done this year. They went to see their new classes on Tuesday. Before they went, everybody wrote a letter to their new teachers telling them what they were good at and what they liked doing. On Tuesday, there was a graduation ceremony to award the children certificates. On Thursday, there was a party all afternoon with fun, food and face-painting.
At the beginning of the week, an exciting addition to Reception arrived which was a new mud kitchen! The children took no time to start using it and it is already proving to be a thoroughly engaging resource. Our thanks go out to the FOAP who kindly purchased it.
The staff team wanted to say a big thank you to the children and families in Reception. It has been a fantastic year, and this would not have been possible without the amazing children and supportive adults. There has been so much fun and laughter with this cohort and it has been a joy to see them grow. Have a brilliant summer!
