Today at Atwood all of the children in the Early Years enjoyed making lots of Christmas crafts with family and friends. Six different crafts were made throughout the day, three in the morning and three in the afternoon. The children moved around in mixed groups meaning that children from nursery, red and yellow class were all able to spend time together. The children made Christmas Tree biscuits, beaded snowflakes, paper baubles, Christmas cards, wooden tree decorations and a candle sun catcher. They used lots of different skills and techniques throughout the day and we all agreed that we had a lot of fun!
There were lots of volunteers who helped out. We want to say a big thank you to them for giving us their time which made the day possible. Also a big well done to the children for being so well behaved while engaging with all of the various crafts.
