The inaugural Pegasus Trust Games has taken place with Ecclesbourne crowned champions. The event, held at the Croydon Arena, featured children from years 5 and 6 in each of the schools in our trust. Blessed by warm sunshine, competitors took part in events including sprints and relays as well as high jump and rounders ball throw.
With the aim to prepare for next week’s Croydon Interschool Athletics Competition, the children had a fantastic time experiencing the atmosphere of the arena. They all tried their hardest spurred on by enthusiastic classmates and parents cheering from the stands. Congratulations to all the participants and thanks to all the staff who worked hard to make the event happen. We wish you all the best of luck in next week’s competition!
