Year 2 Visit Hampton Court
Year 2 have been learning about the Tudors and Henry VIII.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

Year 2 have been learning about the Tudors and Henry VIII.
Year 4 visited our local Hindu Mandir, Shree Ghanapathy, to further develop their learning on this term’s RE focus, Hinduism.
The Year 6 team are very excited to announce that this academic year’s residential trip for Year 6 has been finalised!
We have had a very empowering week this week because we have taken part in the Anti-Bullying week which has included celebrating ‘friendship’.
Yellow class have had such a fun, busy week! We have been reading the book ‘Naughty Bus’ by Jan Oke, what a naughty bus he is!
Michael Rosen is our favourite author for this half term. He is a well-known children’s novelist and poet and has written over one hundred and forty books!
The children in Beulah nursery had an eventful last week of term.
Across the school we have been celebrating Black History Month by recognising and celebrating the lives and achievements of people of African, Caribbean and Asian heritage.
Every half term, we celebrate special achievements in writing across the school from our early mark making in the nursery to our accomplished writing in year 2.
Year one had a brilliant start to their last week of this half term!
Year 2 have been watching a short film, ‘Baboon on the Moon’, as part of their literacy work.
This week, Cypress was delighted to welcome back, rapper, poet and story teller – Alim Kamara.
This half term, all year groups have invited parents/carers in each year group to their Curriculum Meeting.
It was lovely to see so many parents and carers joining in with our Harvest Festival celebration assembly today.
Well done to all of the children that stood for election for a place in the School Council.
