We have launched our Science Week with two special assemblies. On Monday, Laura Ashfield from the Surrey Wildlife Trust visited us and inspired our children to become more aware of the wildlife in their surroundings. She talked about some common British animals, such as hedgehogs or moths and what we can do to preserve and enhance their habitats. It was lovely to see some children asking some insightful questions to Laura! On Tuesday our children experienced the fun side of science with an amazing science show focused on the properties of air and run by ‘Gooey Stuey’ from the FizzPop Science company.
