Ecclesbourne marked World Book Day 2024 with a celebration of all things poetry.

Today, award-winning poet and rap artist, Karl Nova, visited EPS to work with our KS2 children.

Book week celebrations continued on Monday with a fantastic visit from children’s author, Grace Francis.

Today, six budding poets representing Years 1-6 travelled to Whitehorse Manor to perform in the Pegasus poetry competition and they did us proud!

The EPS A team held onto their unbeaten record this season with a draw at Heavers Farm. 

Today our newly-elected wellbeing ambassadors held their inaugural meeting facilitated by Mrs Roberts.

Thank you to all the Reception families who joined us for our reading café this afternoon. 

Today, we hosted a books, beans and bagels morning to celebrate the ‘Great Big Breakfast’ which is kindly sponsored by Magic Breakfast. 

Our year 3 children started the week off with a fantastic workshop with RedSTART. 

It was lovely to see so many of our nursery parents and carers join us this week for our termly reading cafe. 

Award winning poet, Joshua Seigal, has got World Book Week underway with an inspirational assembly. 

Today, Ecclesbourne pupils and staff pulled out all the stops to dazzle the visiting crowds with a variety of carefully-curated exhibitions.

The Year 6 children will be undertaking their Key Stage Two SATs  in just a few months, and we are all excited (on some level!)

Children at Little Ecclesbourne have been learning all about farming and building.

Today, Mr Francis delivered an informative assembly to help children develop their understanding of ways to stay safe online.
