Year 3 Recreate Sunset at Stonehenge
Year 3 have been studying Stonehenge and have recreated a sunset picture of it.
We have some places remaining at our Nursery at Ecclesbourne Primary School in September. Full time and part time places are available. Year 3 have been studying Stonehenge and have recreated a sunset picture of it.
After a year of hard work and SATs preparation, the Year Six children were treated to a trip to Chessington World of Adventures as a reward.
Year 3 from EPS visited Thornton Heath library this week. Both Meteors and Asteroids classes were given a tour of the children’s library as well as a talk and story from one of the librarians.
Lots of children and families came together on this lovely sunny morning to share a hot breakfast at our picnic tables and discover their next great read.

In Reception, we got up close and personal with some very creepy-crawly visitors from Zoolab as part of our ‘Beastly Beasts’ topic.

As a result of our collaboration with the P.I.G. charity and their allotment project, some of our Year 6 pupils were lucky enough to go and visit Mrs Burney’s Bees in Frylands Wood this week.
On this beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, it was a pleasure to see so many of our pupils making the most of the weather to enjoy learning outdoors in the sunshine.
We have been learning about Africa and it’s culture this term.
Year 1 had the lucky opportunity to visit The Horniman Museum in Forest Hill.
To round off a busy week, Year 5 children at EPS took part in a construction workshop delivered by Robyn from Procur3d Consulting Ltd.
Year 4 have been making the most of spring weather (as and when it comes out!)
As part of the Year 3 Thematic topic, Like A Rolling Stone, we were visited by two people from the Mesolithic period of the Stone Age.
This term the children in Little Ecclesbourne have been so busy.
