Well done to Yellow class who performed amazingly in their class assembly, sharing their learning about minibeasts.
Yesterday and today have been our Upper School Sports Days. We have had tremendous fun!

This week, Year 3 have been taking part in Science week!
It has been Science Week and Refugee Week at Cypress. We have been considering the amazing contributions of people who have come to the UK fleeing war, natural disasters or persecution and used our empathy skills to imagine what it would be like to leave your home country, at short notice, with few or none of your personal belongings.
In Little Cypress this week we have been enjoying Science Week and learning all about the lifecycle of the butterfly.
We have had a Super Science Week at Cypress Lower School with exciting investigations in every year group!
Our children had a fantastic time with their science experiments this week.
As part of our ‘Africa’ topic this term, our children attended a couple of dance workshops, led by a drummer and a dancer from Ghana.
We have launched our Science Week with two special assemblies. On Monday, Laura Ashfield from the Surrey Wildlife Trust visited us and inspired our children to become more aware of the wildlife in their surroundings.
Another week and another exciting sporting experience. This week 6 children from Year 4 & 5 had the opportunity to practise 3X3 basketball.
