CYP – Weekly newsletter
During assembly at the Lower School this week, we learnt about International Day of Peace.
We are looking to appoint newly qualified and experienced teachers across The Pegasus Academy Trust.

During assembly at the Lower School this week, we learnt about International Day of Peace.
Author and storyteller, Chitra Soundar, is hosting an interactive session this Saturday at 2pm at the Salvation Army in Thornton Heath.
We have had another busy and productive week in Little Cypress, getting to know all the wonderful children a little better.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended our Year 1 curriculum meeting this morning.
This week the weather may have been changeable this week, but at Cypress Upper we have not!
This week at Cypress Lower we have been Building our Learning Powers (BLP).
We would like to extend a huge welcome to our youngest children in both Rainbows and Nursery.
Our current Thematic topic in Year 3 is a local area study about Crystal Palace.
Yesterday, we were all saddened to hear of the passing of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
Our new year 3 cohort has had a fantastic start to their Key Stage 2 career.
There have been sixty one Kings and Queens of England in the last 1200 years but none has been monarch longer than Queen Elizabeth II, who died yesterday at the age of 96.
The year 6 children ended their final year at Primary school with an exciting 2 days.
We can’t believe that the end of the school year has crept up on us so quickly!
It has been such an eventful week at Cypress! Monday and Tuesday saw the hottest temperatures ever recorded in the UK, and the sweatiest school days we’ve ever witnessed!
What an eventful week! From soaring heatwaves to emotional assemblies, it’s certainly been a week to remember.
