As you know, Seve came to see us last week. He really enjoyed the cuddles and strokes that he received while at the Upper School.
Hi, this is a message from the ECO squad at Cypress!
This week we have been learning about Road Safety. Mrs Jerman and Miss Khatun led assemblies sharing the ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ message, which is particularly important at this time of year as the evenings become darker.
Despite the rather inclement weather this week, we have still had a fun-packed week in Little Cypress!

We know that the natural surroundings at Cypress Primary School are highly prized by parents and since Pegasus have been at the school we have invested heavily in the woodlands that lie between the school buildings on the Lower site and Cypress and Auckland Roads.
Thank you to all the parents, carers and children who attended the initial meeting about the Year 6 residential trip 2022-23 last night.
We started the week with an assembly led by Miss Binks focusing on the importance of being a great friend to others and what being a good friend looks like in practice.
Year 2 have been learning about the Tudors and Henry VIII.
Year 4 visited our local Hindu Mandir, Shree Ghanapathy, to further develop their learning on this term’s RE focus, Hinduism.
The Year 6 team are very excited to announce that this academic year’s residential trip for Year 6 has been finalised!
We’ve had a fantastic Friendship Week at Cypress Lower School, learning how to be good friends and celebrating kindness.
This time last year I was approached by one of our parents, asking if we had any old and unused resources which might be useful to a Nursery School that her mother was setting up in Ghana.
