It has been a wonderful week of festive fun at Whitehorse Manor Junior school. The children were brilliant in this year’s Christmas Production, ‘All W’rapped Up’, an original nativity by our very own Mrs Ehiemua with additional beats by her son, Michael Ehiemua. The feedback from parents was overwhelmingly positive and, as is often the case, it really does start to feel a lot like Christmas when the tinsel halos and vintage sheep costumes come out. The show is put on over four days with Years 4 and 6 and then Years 3 and 5 performing together. Parents don’t see what goes on ‘back stage’ so I have shared some pictures of what it looks like when 180 children are standing silently waiting for the finale. We ended the week with our Christmas jumper day and Christmas lunch. Smiling staff from Harrison’s put on a great spread, with everything from home-made cranberry sauce and stuffing to chocolate cake with custard. It was ‘yumtastic’ and as one pupil declared: This is just the best! I love this day!
