We had a very festive Friday at Ecclesbourne today. Children enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and wowed us with their very best Christmas jumpers.

Christmas Fun in Rainbows and Nursery What busy bees we have been in Little Cypress!

Over the last few weeks, our children have been working very hard to prepare for their Christmas performances.

It is starting to look a lot like Christmas in the Early Years, especially as a lot of the crafts made at Christmas Making day are hanging up in all of the classrooms.

In Gold class, we have been learning all about colours. We have looked at and talked about the colours in the rainbow and investigated the colours of different objects.

A huge well done to all of the reception classes as they did a fantastic job performing for their grown-ups and loved ones at their Christmas concert.

Year 6 recently visited the Natural History Museum to develop their knowledge of their science topic ‘Evolution and Inheritance.’ 

The Whitehorse Year 5 and 6 Indoor Athletics Team competed against other schools in Croydon at a qualifying event today. 

This week, the year 3 children from Brigstock, Whitehorse Manor Junior and Ecclesbourne schools went on a trip to the Crystal Palace park.

We are fully in the swing of Christmas here at Brigstock!   

We started the day at the Lower School today with a fabulous assembly from Ruby Class. 

On Wednesday, our Year 6 children were invited to Fairfield Halls to watch the Whitgift autumn show.
