CYP Lower: Happy Easter from Little Cypress!

Easter Fun!

What a sunny and fun-filled week we have had to round off the half-term in Little Cypress! We have been busy making our Easter cards and carefully writing our names in the inserts, making chocolate Easter nests and decorating Spring-themed biscuits.

World Maths Day

We all got very mathematical today for World Maths Day and dressed up in Maths-themed attire. What a fabulous range of outfits we had on show! Miss Chapman and Bea were matching with their number 39s, we had Numberblocks, t-shirts to write number equations on, favourite numbers, the year the children were born on their faces with facepaints, their favourite numbers and much, much more! Thank you to all the parents and carers for their creativity with these brilliant outfits. We have spent the day singing number rhymes and songs, counting in lots of different ways and embarking on fun mathematical activities in Little Cypress.

Most Improved Daily Mile Runners!

Every day in Nursery and Rainbows we run a mile around the main playground and we have noticed how much fitter the children are getting. Today, Freddie in Rainbows and Theia and Alfie in Nursery were awarded a certificate each for being the most improved runner in their class: well done! What fantastic stamina you have all shown!

It just leaves us all here in Little Cypress to wish you a happy and peaceful Easter break and we look forward to seeing you all back at school on Tuesday, 22nd April.
