Today Lilac class had the opportunity to walk around our beautiful city and take in all the sights and sounds. What a city! This trip is to highlight how much the city has changed since the fire of 1666. We started at London Bridge station, walked to The Monument. After The Monument, we visited the Garden at 120 to see the landmarks from above street level.
The children even sang ‘London’s burning’ at the corner of Pudding lane. Sadly, the members of the public, who heard the children’s angelic singing did not give tips.
Beulah’s walking tour also included spotting narrow, cobbled streets, visiting buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren and admiring the river Thames. Everyone on the trip today had a smile on their face and at least 10k steps. That’s a job well done!
