BINF- Here come the owls!

The children have been talking and learning about owls in Gold class. On Tuesday, Kent Owl Academy visited Beulah to show some of their beautiful owls to Gold class.  The children had been counting the days waiting for them to come and were very excited when the day finally arrived.  We were very proud of our children because they were very good at being quiet, even creeping quietly into the hall, because owls don’t like loud noises! To the children’s surprise, Lancel, one of the owls, looked just like the mummy owl in the story of ‘Owl Babies’!  It was lovely to see them up close and to listen to them hooting. When Lancel, the Owl, flew over our heads, the children remained calm and brave.  One child said ‘He flew so fast!’
