It was lovely to be joined by Delores’s son, Tyrone, and daughter-in-law, Kirsty, to unveil a bench in memory of Delores at the front of the school. It’s been two years since we lost her and we all still think about her – she was such a big part of our school community. It was an overcast day but the moment we stepped outside the sun burst through to illuminate the bench in the sunny spot that Mr Gadd had found for it. Please feel free to sit on the bench and think about our dearly departed friend ‘and everything like that’.
