Year 6 school journey: day two

What an absolutely action-packed day at Cuffley! For some, the day before had ended a little too late due to the excitement of camping out in the woodland. For others it started a little too early as the sun greeted us all in the Hertfordshire countryside.

The children (and adults) have built buggies, hit bullseyes in the archery range, built fires and gone head to head in laser tag and archery tag. Everyone has managed to overcome their trepidation and several also conquered their fears on the climbing wall.

With only tomorrow morning’s activities and meals ahead of them, the children have already started looking forward to seeing their loved ones, as well as discussing their favourite experiences.

As the teachers stumble around bleary-eyed but full of vigour, there is just one thought on everyone’s lips: surely the children will go to sleep earlier tonight…!
