WHJUN – Y6 Mindfulness

With the SATs approaching soon (13th – 17th May) it is more important than ever to ensure our children are as calm and relaxed as possible. The next couple weeks can feel intense for some students, however Rachel has been on hand to make sure the children don’t forget to breathe!

Over the past few weeks Rachel has been teaching children techniques to help relieve their nerves such as tips on breathing, stretching and sitting posture. She has equipped the children with lots of positive affirmations – reminding the children they are successful and can achieve anything they set their mind to. The children have also used tools to help any nervous feelings they may have or areas of pressure that need relieving.
