School Council at Whitehorse Junior School are at it again! In three days they organised a fantastic Talent Show which they presented on Red Nose Day to the whole school to show-case some hidden talent as well as raise money for Comic Relief. They framed the event to include much audience participation and comments from the judges: Simona Cowell (Deepika) Amanda Holden (Paulina), Bruna Toniolli (Tianna) and Alesha Dixon (Dhruvi), which was entertaining in itself! The acts included gymnasts, dancers, a stand-up comic, singers in ‘a Capella’, ‘the world’s fastest eater’ and an incredible pianist! Of course, no show is complete without your wild-card acts which included a ‘memorable’ performance from ‘Bloomfield Boys’- a surprise teacher act- to kick off the show. Much fun was had by all and we are proud to say that this, alongside wearing red for the day, helped to raise over £155 for Comic Relief: a record for Whitehorse Juniors! We thank Mr Gadd for the great technical display and sound and Ms Sunday for her creative touches for the staging. Mrs Appiah was busy supporting School Council behind the scenes to get the event from page to stage. Well done School Council for an incredible event!
