On Friday 1st March 2024 Whitehorse Junior’s young leaders were in action again!THE JTA’s joined forces with Whitehorse’s School Council to trial a dojo shop. This included creating the ‘dojo money’, pricing the prizes appropriately, running the shop, cake/bicuit decorating and an obstacle course where more dojo money could be earned to spend at the shop.
“It was hard work but worth it” commented Jessica, a long standing member of the JTA.
Class 4MA were the fortunate beneficiaries of the trial and they had nothing but praise for our Young Leaders.“Did they really organise this by themselves Miss, well I Ms Appiah you helped them, but that’s good you know!” commented one student
“This has been the best afternoon of my life!” exclaimed another.Our Young Leaders hope to feedback to the School Leadership team on how the event went and whether they could roll out something similar for all classes at WHJUN. We will keep you posted!
