Award winning poet, Joshua Seigal, has got World Book Week underway with an inspirational assembly. He delighted EPS children with collaborative performances of some of his best loved poems covering an array of subjects, using fantastic prosody.
Following the assembly, he gave workshops to year 3 children, where they wrote and performed their own poems about emotions. Josh discussed different types of poetic devices with children, including alliteration, repetition and rhyme.
