Assemblies are always a treat but this week has been an extra special treat. This week, the Beulah community was treated to not one, but two GREAT assemblies. Year 2, have been learning about ‘The Great Fire of London’ and with the help of their teachers, they lifted their learning off of the page and brought it all to life in the hall. Both Indigo and Lilac class sang, acted and danced the story of the fire of London. Indigo class, showed off their artwork and writing inspired by the historic event.
Lilac class, performed their own version of an Alicia Keys classic – London is on fire. All the grown up in the room, were in awe the entire time.
Without a doubt there are parents and carers who were singing the song hours after the assemblies. I know for sure, that the children will remember these performances for their entire lives.
Children at Beulah are filled will talent and it is always brilliant to see them taking pride in their learning.
