This week, the year 3 children from Brigstock, Whitehorse Manor Junior and Ecclesbourne schools went on a trip to the Crystal Palace park. Despite the rainy and at times icy weather, the children were enthusiastic and learned a lot. Year 3 had a wonderful time using their imaging skills to help them understand how vast the Crystal Palace was before it burnt down. They also enjoyed using their noticing skills to study and sketch the sphinxes before marveling at the amazing dinosaur creations of Benjamin Waterhouse-Hawkins. What a fantastic day out!
