The gardening club at WHJUN has been out in force this week, picking up litter, weeding and planting daffodil bulbs on the edge of the field for us all to enjoy in the Spring. The children showed themselves to be very responsible and sensible using adult-sized spades to carefully dig holes in the turf for the bulbs. This means that they will be able to share their new skills with others in their class. We have 360 daffodil bulbs that need planting and every child in the school will have a chance to plant one with their teacher between now and December. Be on the look out in spring for our floral display!
