The sun, the sea and the sand! Oh! We do love to be beside the seaside. This week, Year 2 had arguably the best trip ever – the seaside. After studying the seaside for an entire term, they finally got to see a typical seaside town. At Broadstairs, they were able to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the seaside. While enjoying their time on the beach, they had staring contests with the seagulls, dug the deepest holes in the sand, built sandcastles and jumped into waves. Oh! It was a great time at the seaside. Just look at their faces. The seaside is truly the highlight of Year 2.
