Yesterday, it was a real pleasure to drive down and visit the Year 6 who have been camping at the Cuffley Active Learning Centre near Potters Bar. It was great to see all of the Whitehorse (Brigstock and Main Site) pupils together and they all managed to gather under one central ‘Yurt’ for campfire building and ‘s’mores’ eating. And what a treat to have Mr Santos present to entertain them on guitar! I enjoyed the ‘night line’ blindfolded assault course and singing on the bouncing tree to encourage our comrades at the end! I’m happy that all the children have returned safe and sound (but maybe a bit muddy). Have a lovely weekend and thanks to the staff who took the children and made this happen.
