It has been so lovely seeing our youngest children come back to Rainbows and Nursery so confidently this week, after the Christmas break. Routines have been remembered and despite it being a very short week, the children have quickly got back in to their stride and have had plenty of fun. We welcome Ms Kokkini to Rainbows; a familiar face at Cypress but a new role for her and I know you will all help in making her feel at home in Little Cypress.
We have been thinking about Traditional Tales and focused this week on Goldilocks and the Three Bears; both the well-known version and some funny variations! We have been carefully counting to 3 and thinking about the different sizes of bears, bowls, chairs and beds in large, medium and small, as well as drawing a story map after listening to the tale. Ask the children what they remember about the story and see if they can re-tell it in the correct order!
Both Rainbows and Nursery have had plenty of fresh air and flexed their muscles in the Adventure Playground.
