Ecclesbourne had the amazing opportunity to meet the author Banji Alexander. He talked in depth about his book Lockdown Looms, Reggie’s Birthday Party with the children during two assemblies. They loved learning more about the story, the characters and Banji’s inspiration for them. The children were also lucky enough to meet the author and have books signed after school. Banji really enjoyed his visit to our school and was impressed with our passion for reading. We can’t wait for his next visit!
