Over the past week, children at Beulah have been learning about the Hindu festival, Diwali. During assembly we explored how Diwali is celebrated and all the wonderful activities they do. Year 2 had a very exciting workshop delivered by Nabhi Das, a member of the local temple. He told the children the story of Rama and Sita and shared interesting facts about Hinduism and its traditions, including the festival of lights – Diwali.
