Runners representing EPS put in an excellent performance in the recent inter school competition. 48 Ecclesbourne children across both key stage 1 and 2 took part in a total of 12 races at the annual cross country race in Croydon’s Lloyd Park. All our runners completed the course with Akai in year 4 winning the silver medal, narrowly taking second place. This is particularly impressive given that there were about 160 children in each race. Another notable performance came from Kaia in year 3 who finished her event in 10th place.
With a huge crowd watching each of the races, everyone was impressed with the strong resilience shown by each of the competitors. Congratulations to everyone who took part.
