This half term, Year 2 are learning about ‘Seasides’ and have thoroughly enjoyed their learning so far. In Art, we have looked at seascape paintings by ‘Van Gogh’ and ‘Turner’ and discussed how these artist manoeuvred their brushes and made use of their mediums available to them, to create their masterpiece. The children have sketched their very own seascapes and have begun to paint them by using water colours.
