The Atwood girls’ football team opened their season with a win this week. In driving rain and howling winds, the girls bravely battled on to win 3-0 against Quest Academy. There were some excellent performances all over the pitch with the girls being strong in defence and lightning quick on the attack. Goals came from Sofiah (2) and Annalise but it was a fantastic team effort from all involved. A special mention should go to the supporters who came along and braved the conditions.
