Year 6 brought the house down on Thursday evening with their fantastic performance of ‘Mystery at Magpie Manor’.
All of the cast gave 100% to the production which brought comedy, song, mystery and 1920s’ dance routines together in one scintillating show. Our Year 6s dressed up in their 1920’s costumes and sang their hearts out; both their teachers and their families were so proud of them. What an excellent way to end their time at Ecclesbourne! All the characters including Lord and Lady Pica, their staff, the endless celebrity guests, the fantastic flapper girls, Mr. Fortune the bank manager and his bumbling assistants, were brilliant. The audience were treated to a wonderful display of singing and dancing as they told the story of who stole the family silver and at the finale none other than Agatha Christie turned up to solve the mystery.
Well done to all involved in creating this energetic musical production and for bringing the Charleston to Thornton Heath!
